How to join the programme :

  1. Access the application form here.

     

  1. Complete the form and send it by email together with your CV and certificates as attachments to mcgbah@batelco.com.bh.
    Scan your certificates in JPEG or GIF format. If you cannot do this, send them by fax to 00973 - 17213101.
    Please note that NO fee is required until you are advised that you have been accepted to join the programme.

  1. Your application will be assessed and you will be advised by email of the result. (This may take up to 30 days to process.)

  1. If you are accepted and choose to join the programme, you may be asked to re-confirm your preferred start date and the units / modules you wish to study.

  1. The registration process can take up to one month therefore you will be asked to make your payment of the full fee (or first instalment) at least one month before your preferred programme start date.

  1. MCG will register you and send the form for you to sign and forward.

  1. You will receive an email from the course provider confirming your Student ID.

  1. On completion of the registration process your Log-in and User ID password will be released giving you on-line access to the course and full access to the relevant sections of the eCampus.

  1. The course study guide and material will be available to you on-line. Text books, if applicable, will be sent to you by courier. You may then start the programme.

Prerequisite Skills :

As this is a postgraduate level course in IT, it is essential that all candidates have a strong knowledge of using IT. In addition candidates need to have an in depth knowledge of computer networking or, alternatively, study the Professional Systems Engineering module.

System requirements :

All students must ensure that they have a computer with the following specification and software:

  • PC with 500 MHz processor or higher
  • Windows 98/NT4.x/2000/XP
  • 64 Mb disk space/64 Mb RAM
  • 12x CD-ROM drive (CD-RW is recommended)
  • Operational internet connection
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or higher
  • Macromedia Flash Player plug-in
  • Java-enabled Browser
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4 or higher
